Star Trek easter egg in Heroes

We're rapidly going through 1. season of the series "Heroes". In episode 14 - entitled "Distractions" - Hiro Nakamura's father appears, played by George Takei. I noticed that he drives away in a car with a very familiar combination of letters and numbers on the license plate :



- NCC-1701 is the registry of the USS Enterprise of the original Star Trek series, where George Takei plays the role of Mr. Zulu.
